Joana is an experienced yoga and movement educator, raised in Whanganui, based in Melbourne. Trained in Astananga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, Joana blends her dance and performing background into her sequences to make them uplifting and approachable. She is capable of breaking down asanas to each small detail of the alignment and offering modifications.
Joana is amazed how much yoga has changed her perspective and personal growth and loves that she gets to share that with a range of people.

Melissa (eRYT500/YACEP) sharing a Sunday morning retreat. Yin yoga allows us to work the deeper “yin”tissues of our ligaments, joints, deep fascial networks and even our bones. Yin yoga is NOT restorative yoga – it is a passive but challenging practice due to the time the posture is held. After you have experienced Yin Yoga you will find that we do not use the body to get into a pose, we use the pose to get into the body.
